I'm not usually one to write reviews, but this Uji matcha powder is one of the best I've had and I've tried a variety of brands like Ippodo, Marukyu Koyamaen, Nakamura Tokichi Honten, Rocky's Matcha, etc. The flavor profile really reminds me of the popular ceremonial blend from Rocky's Matcha. It's sweet, creamy and umami - I find that I need to use less agave syrup to sweeten my matcha lattes, because the powder already has that natural sweetness to it! Kuru Matcha has become one of my favorite brands and their team always included a cute handwritten note for each order I made. Plus, their brand logo is to die for! Although I'm sad their matchas have been out of stock pretty often recently, I'm happy for them - they deserve the hype :) Shoutout to the Kuru Matcha team for including a free chasen stand in my recent repurchase, I appreciate it so much :')
